DigitalEdge is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for as many users as possible, including people with disabilities, neurodiverse users, and those with varying levels of digital literacy. We aim to meet or exceed the standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
2. Scope
This accessibility statement applies to the micro-learning pilot platform and lesson materials delivered by DigitalEdge. It includes video lessons, interactive tasks, and downloadable content shared with participating councils.
3. Measures to Support Accessibility
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Captions and transcripts for all lesson videos
- Clear, plain English in instructional text
- Keyboard-navigable interfaces
- High-contrast visual design
- Dark mode option for reduced eye strain
- Adjustable text sizes
- Logical reading order and heading structures
- Regular use of accessibility checkers for downloadable documents
4. Known Limitations
Some third-party embedded tools may not fully meet accessibility standards. We are working to reduce such instances and welcome feedback to help improve the experience.
